Dobson Fine Jewellery is an independent jeweller specialising in antique and vintage jewellery, designer pieces and luxury watches. Based at Trentham Jewellery Centre, we source exceptional jewellery from across the UK, carefully selecting every piece for its quality, craftsmanship and history. Alongside our curated collection, we also offer bespoke jewellery services, working closely with clients to create unique pieces and custom rings designed to be worn and treasured for generations.
Our Story
From an early age, Marcus developed a fascination with antiques and collectables, often travelling the country with his parents to visit antique markets and fairs. It was there he began absorbing the knowledge and instincts of the trade long before he realised it would one day become his career.
Originally trained as a carpenter, Marcus developed a deep appreciation for skilled workmanship, quality materials and doing things properly. What began as a hobby soon grew into a passion, and in 2014 he began buying antiques alongside his father’s market stall in Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands.
Working closely with dealers, collectors and traders helped Marcus develop a sharp eye for authenticity and quality. Over time he expanded his knowledge under established antique jewellery dealers and watch specialists, eventually leading to the opening of the showroom at Trentham Jewellery Centre.
Today, that same appreciation for craftsmanship and quality continues to guide Dobson Fine Jewellery, where every piece is carefully selected to ensure buying fine jewellery remains personal, honest and enjoyable.
